Portfolio Presentations Green Room Volunteers

WHEELS NHS-

Ms. Palmer-Smith has invited NHS to participate as volunteers hosting the outside of WHEELS guests who will be visiting to participate in the Passage Portfolio Presentations for both 8th and 12th grades.

She has requested that NHS members "be in the CAR from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Friday, June 14thMonday, June 17th; andTuesday, June 18th It would be ideal if we could have 2-3 students in the room at a time to help panelists get their folders, frame passages, help direct them to rooms, etc.  And if they can go in shifts so that they have a lunch break and another break somewhere, that would be ideal."

Thank you for exemplifying the NHS attribute of service and leadership!

NHS Bake Sale

WHEELS NHS raised money through a bake sale during SLCs on Thursday, April 11th.  NHS members baked cupcakes, made colored chocolate lollipops, brought donuts and muffins, and staffed the bake sale table throughout SLCs.  Profits from the bake sale will be used to purchase National Honor Society graduation cords for NHS seniors.

Thanks to Senior Dianitza Mendez, who led the project, and the volunteers and all who supported the bake sale!
